Technical

Designed to meet demanding technical requirements

NOMATEC® XLPa and XOMER® are cross-linked polyethylene foam solutions for applications where insulation, sealing, protection and comfort must perform together across industries such as construction, marine, packaging, automotive and aerospace.

Available in closed-cell and open-cell foam structures, they support a wide range of technical requirements, from moisture-resistant insulation and sealing to flexible cushioning and energy absorption.

Supplied as rolls, sheets and blocks, these XLPa foam materials can be adapted to converting and OEM processes while maintaining consistent material performance.

Cushioning & compression behaviour

Cushioning & compression behaviour

Low deflection force and high compressibility support applications requiring comfort, padding and protection.

Shock & vibration absorption

Shock & vibration absorption

Efficient energy absorption helps reduce impact and vibration, supporting protective packaging, industrial cushioning and transport applications.

Chemical resistance

Chemical resistance

The cross-linked polyethylene structure contributes to stability when exposed to oils, solvents and other substances, depending on application conditions.

Mechanical performance

Mechanical performance

Balanced flexibility and strength support use under repeated or continuous mechanical load within defined conditions.

Water resistance & buoyancy

Water resistance & buoyancy

Closed-cell structures provide resistance to water ingress and enable use in buoyancy-related applications.
